I have it on my carry firearm. For about 2 months now and it shows no sign of wear. Easy to install and fairly easy to cut. The texture feels good and basically the same as the original stipple from my S&W. The glue is strong and hasnt started to lift on any of the edges. I had enough to do 2 handguns and maybe one more. This stuff works great.

I received this stuff yesterday and spent the rest of my night getting it on my pistol perfectly. I don't like accessories on my pistol or rifles unless they look Factory. After getting installed...this stuff actually works and works way better than expected. I like to cock my pistols from the front of the slide, so this stuff is needed. I practiced at home and this made all the difference in the world. Only thing is, I would hope the company would make a clear version in the future. Their competitor makes clear at 4 times the price. So I'll wait. Two thumbs up!

I purchased this product to improve the grip on a Kimber Solo firearm. I previously had a rubber grip on it and while it worked it eventually tore and was removed. I applied GT-5000 grip tape strips on the front and back of the pistol grip and it worked perfectly. I will be using it on other pistol grips as required. I think the rubber texture is a very good design allowing good grip while not being abrasive. The three strips provide plenty of material as well. I am very pleased with this purchase. Its use resulted in greatly improved performance of my Solo at a nominal price.

Im very happy with this grip tape. The tape is not rough on skin whatsoever while still providing lots of grip. Performs very well even when wet. The tape sticks very well to the hand grip. I don't think it will be coming off anytime soon without my intervention. Came will excellent install instructions. The install only took me about an hour. However, i was taking my time. Three strips was more than enough for my gun. If i wanted to do another i easily could. The seller was great aswell. My package was originally lost by the carrier. They sent out another order with next day shipping at no expense to me.

Great stuff! This has so many uses. Of course it's sold as a grip tape for guns and I used it on my CZ competition gun to replace a very abrasive grip tape that was tearing up my skin and it worked perfectly. But I also use it on select areas of my cell phone, iPad, iPad styluses to get a better grip on all of them. The only negative is that when wound around a narrow barrel like a stylus the corners will lift up - I cured it with a drop of crazy glue. Grip wise it is great - grippy without being abusively rough. Highly recommended!
